2019 Reading Goals

Blogging has been really super difficult lately because my laptop isn’t working and I’ve been trying to write blog posts on my phone, which is NOT FUN. But I’m finally getting around to writing up my 2019 reading goals!

Skyward | REVIEW

I finished my first book of 2019 and man oh man, was it fantastic! I am so happy that I decided to go outside my comfort zone and try this book, since even though I love Brandon Sanderson and his writing, I’ve never actually read a sci-fi before. But I am happy to say that after reading this, I think I’ll try even more sci-fi!

Birthday Book Tag (Happy Birthday to Me!!)

Facebook-Whats-funnier-than-24-9f7936

25! That’s right everyone, I’m officially 25 today! Car insurance gets cheaper, I start to feel panicky that I’m not being a good enough adult, and so on and so forth. But all that aside, I found this book tag through the wonders of Google, and decided that it would be a great tag to do for my birthday!

10 Worst Books of 2018

The other day I posted my top 10 of 2018, which of course means that I now have to talk about my 10 worst books of 2018! These posts are my favorites to read, so if you have done some yourself, leave a link in the comments so I can check it out! For this post, there isn’t any real order to the books with the exception of the first two, which were hands down the worst books I read this year.

Kill the Queen | REVIEW

Kill the Queen by Jennifer Estep was one of the books I was looking forward to the most from this year, and I finally got around to reading it! I’m so glad that I finally read it because it was just what I needed! Not only does it have a ton of murder (trigger warning for blood, gore, and all that) but it also has elemental magic, adventures, and a touch of romance.

The Joy of Christmas Book Tag

12 Days of Blogmas!

I had a lot of fun doing Blogtober back in October, but it really wore me out and put me into a blogging slump of sorts. But because I enjoyed it so much, I knew that I wanted to participate in Blogmas but I wasn’t really keen on doing the entire month of December. Then I decided to do 12 days of Blogmas, sort of like the 12 Days of Christmas! That means that starting today, I will have one blog post a day until Christmas day! There are so many festive tags and blog ideas, so it’s the perfect mix of participating but not to the point where I get burnt out on blogging again.

I hope you enjoy my posts, and I’ll see you all tomorrow with my Blogmas Day 2!
